Empowering women and giving back to the community are at the heart of the 40 Over Forty project, an initiative by Marconi Photography that celebrates the beauty, strength, and resilience of women over 40. As this project comes to a close, a special wrap-up celebration will be held on March 30, 2025, at Joe Bellas Italian Kitchen in Toms River, bringing together the participants, supporters, and local businesses that made it all possible.
Honoring Strength, Beauty, and Community
The 40 Over Forty project, created by Marconi Photography, has highlighted the stories and achievements of 40 women, capturing their essence through portraits and personal reflections. More than just a photography series, this initiative has provided a platform for women to share their journeys, inspire others, and embrace their confidence.
The event will also support Dottie’s House, a nonprofit organization in Brick, New Jersey, dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives through safe housing and supportive services.
Christopher Marconi, owner and lead photographer at Marconi Photography, expressed his excitement for the event. “This project has been a labor of love, and we’re so excited to bring everyone together to celebrate the amazing women who shared their wisdom and experiences. We’re equally proud to support Dottie’s House, an organization of empowerment and resilience.”
A Special Event for a Worthy Cause
Attendees will experience a recap video story showcasing the women of the 40 Over Forty project, the release of the official magazine featuring all 40 participants, a mimosa bar and a light menu, and the opportunity to connect with inspiring women and community supporters. There will also be ways to contribute directly to Dottie’s House.
Local Businesses Supporting Local Women
Several local businesses have stepped up to sponsor this event, including On Your Mark Designs, owned by Lisa Mazzuca, who was also the first subject of the 40 Over Forty project, Pilates by the Bay, Tara Coffman, Financial Professional with New York Life, and Hands On CPR Training. Their support highlights the power of local businesses coming together to uplift and empower women in the community.
