LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — The Ocean County Business Association (OCBA) is inviting business professionals, golfers, sponsors, and community supporters to participate in the 10th Annual Marty Aronow Charity Golf Classic on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at LBI National Golf & Resort in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
The annual event brings together the local business community for a day of golf, networking, and fundraising to support CAREing for Children, a volunteer-driven organization that helps provide food, holiday gifts, school supplies, and other necessities to children and families in need throughout Ocean County.
Held at one of the region’s premier golf destinations, the outing has become one of Ocean County’s most recognized charity golf events. Over the past nine years, the tournament has raised more than $182,000 to support local charitable organizations and families facing difficult circumstances.
Last year’s event raised more than $22,000, with proceeds helping provide gifts and food to organizations including Providence House, Faith Community Church Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, St. Joseph’s Church Food Pantry, United Methodist Church Food Pantry, and others serving local residents in need.
CAREing for Children was founded through the efforts of OCBA members and inspired by the late Clare Bojus, whose dedication to helping local children continues through the leadership of Barbara Farley and a team of volunteers committed to keeping the mission moving forward.
Because CAREing for Children is operated entirely by volunteers, 100% of net proceeds from the golf outing directly benefit the community.
The event schedule includes:
• 11:30 AM – Registration
• 12:00 PM – Boxed Lunch
• 1:00 PM – Shotgun Start
• 6:00 PM – Completion of Round
• 6:00 PM – Dinner & Awards Ceremony
Golfers and sponsors will enjoy a full day of activities including team prizes, scramble-format play, a hole-in-one contest, putting contest, driving range access, networking opportunities, and more.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses looking to increase visibility while supporting a meaningful local cause. Sponsorship levels range from Tee Box Sponsors to Diamond Sponsors, which include event recognition and golfer participation packages.
